財政部為促進民間參與公共建設法主管機關，掌理促參資訊蒐集、公告及統計作業，因應促參法施行迄今已屆22年，且政府資訊公開為主流趨勢，適時公開促參相關統計資料有利於各界交流參考使用，接軌國際，爰規劃發行「促參年報」。

PPP projects referenced in this report includes projects enacted under the Act for Promotion of Private Participation in Infrastructure Projects ( PPIP Act ) and other laws or regulations, such as the Mass Rapid Transit Act, National Property Act, the Commercial Port Law, and Urban Renewal Act that comply with the categories of public infrastructure defined in Article 3 of the PPIP Act and the PPP model defined in Article 8 of the PPIP Act.
