112年，為疫情解封的第一年，也是臺灣觀光衝刺年，觀光署如期如質達到國際來臺旅客648萬人次，因應國際永續發展趨勢及2050淨零碳排目標，觀光署推動臺灣觀光發展的下一步，以引領產業「永續、數位雙軸轉型」及「拓展觀光亮點，帶動兆元產業」做為重要施政目標，透過「觀光品牌引客千萬」、「環島亮點捲動國旅」、「跨域整合多元旅遊」及「智慧景區價值升級」等4大策略，擴大吸引國際旅客來臺，以及提升國旅體驗。
