內容簡介
近幾年來，歷史檔案的梳理、如何建構屬於自身的藝術史等問題，成為當代藝術策展中被不斷反覆討論的主題。本期專題「一世紀的旅途」，首篇邀請獨立策展人高森信男自臺灣與亞洲藝術史在展覽中的再現及重構為題，分析「啟視錄：臺灣錄像藝術創世紀」（2015）、「秘密南方：典藏作品中的冷戰視角及秘密南方」（2020）、「未竟之役：太空．家屋．現代主義」（2021）等展覽，如何在大量檔案中延伸出當代的策展視角。而同為藝術家暨評論者的陳飛豪與陳含瑜，則自嘉美館策劃的「人．間」展與回應文協百年的《更名者遊途》走讀計畫，看見在以歷史／藝術檔案為主要基調的展覽中，不同領域的藝術家如何藉由外延的研究發現與現地製作，回應前輩藝術家在一世紀前的創作旅途。
作者介紹
嘉義市立美術館自籌備期起即以「保存及發揚畫都嘉義之精神與榮光」、「結合美學、藝術及文化創意扎根於生活與教育」、「豐富嘉義地區人文城市內涵」等多元藝術發展為主要基礎，形塑本館作為一座城市美術館的重要特質。
序
作為一座城市美術館，對於自身地方美術史的探索研究、梳理、詮釋和展示等，已是其典藏研究與展覽教育推動上的重責任務。自107 年起，文化部以前瞻基礎建設經費推動「重建臺灣藝術史計畫」，由美術史、音樂史、工藝史、文學史、影視音史等層面出發，活化臺灣文化資產，重建藝術史的多元面貌。而其中，包含維護重要的文化藝術資產、強化研究檔案史料、推廣藝術史的多元樣貌等，皆是重要的目標工作。
